4 types of light
ZENT® DermaLight™ uses four types of LED light that penetrate different layers of the skin, producing specific therapeutic effects:
Dazzling results
Effects visible already after the first weeks of use — smoother, more radiant, and regenerated skin. LED light works safely and effectively, supporting natural renewal processes.
Scientific research
LED light therapy, known as photobiomodulation, uses light of precisely selected wavelengths (red, blue, or yellow) that penetrates deep into the skin and stimulates its natural regenerative processes. The light is absorbed by mitochondria – the "energy centers" of cells – leading to increased ATP production, which is the energy necessary for cell renewal and growth.
As a result, fibroblasts are stimulated, collagen and elastin synthesis is increased, microcirculation is improved, and anti-inflammatory effects occur. Light therapy not only improves the appearance and firmness of the skin but also supports the fight against acne, discolorations, and signs of aging. It is a safe, non-invasive method that combines care and therapeutic effects – providing both aesthetic results and a feeling of relaxation and relief.
LED light therapy is not just a trend in cosmetology – its effects have been repeatedly confirmed in scientific studies and clinical publications. Regular use of LED masks, such as ZENT® DermaLight™, brings real and measurable results both in acne therapy and in anti-aging care or improving well-being.
1. Reduction of inflammatory acne
In a clinical study published in the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology (Gold et al., 2009), the use of blue light (415 nm) and red light (633 nm) in people with moderate acne led to a reduction of inflammatory lesions by as much as 77% after 12 weeks of regular use (2–3 times a week). This is evidence of the strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action of LED light.
2. Anti-aging effects and collagen stimulation
In a systematic review based on over 30 clinical studies (Seminars in Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, Barolet et al., 2016), it was shown that light therapy with wavelengths from 590 to 850 nm (yellow, red, and infrared) leads to increased type I collagen synthesis, improved skin firmness, and reduced wrinkle visibility. Effects appeared after 8–12 weeks of use.
3. The effect of red light on well-being and stress reduction A pilot study conducted by Rojas & Gonzalez-Lima (2013), published in Neuropsychopharmacology, showed that exposure to red light (670 nm) can improve mood, reduce anxiety levels, and improve sleep quality and concentration. This means that using LED masks can positively affect not only the skin but also overall well-being.
ZENT® DermaLight™ is not just a care device – it is a tool for daily well-being. Utilizing the properties of red and infrared light, it also acts on the nervous and emotional systems, improving mood, emotional state, and quality of rest.
Red light therapy (in the range of 630–670 nm) is increasingly used in regenerative medicine and neuropsychology as a natural support for mental balance. It has been proven that regular exposure to this type of light can:
In a pilot study (Rojas & Gonzalez-Lima, 2013), published in Neuropsychopharmacology, it was shown that just a few minutes of exposure to red light with a wavelength of 670 nm improves activity in brain regions responsible for mood regulation and cognitive functions. Study participants reported a clear improvement in well-being, better sleep, and reduced anxiety levels.
ZENT® DermaLight™ therefore combines skin care with emotional care. A short light therapy session can become a ritual of calming down after a stressful day or an element of the evening routine that restores balance and peace.
LED light therapy works at the cellular level – penetrating various layers of the skin, it stimulates natural regenerative processes and restores biological balance. Red and infrared light activate fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, resulting in increased firmness, reduced wrinkles, and improved facial contour. Blue light has antibacterial effects, reduces inflammation, and normalizes sebum secretion, which helps fight acne and enlarged pores. Meanwhile, yellow light soothes overreactive skin, strengthens the epidermal barrier, and reduces redness.
The result of regular use of ZENT® DermaLight™ is noticeably smoother, clearer, and brighter skin – without irritation, with visible improvement in skin texture and tone. LED light therapy is a non-invasive, painless method suitable also for people with sensitive skin.
The effectiveness of LED light therapy depends on the accuracy of the wavelength, energy density, and the way light is dispersed on the skin. ZENT® DermaLight™ has been designed based on these three pillars of effectiveness, which translates into truly better results in a shorter time.
Most LED masks available on the market operate within approximate wavelength ranges or mix light with too broad a spectrum (e.g., "red light 600–700 nm"), which weakens the intensity of the biological effect. ZENT® DermaLight™ uses precise wavelengths that correspond to those used in the most important clinical studies:
In other LED masks, these values are often blurred or exceed therapeutic ranges, which causes the light not to act where it should, or to act superficially and ineffectively.
For every skin type — acne-prone, sensitive, mature, and prone to redness.
It is recommended to have 2–3 sessions per week lasting about 10–20 minutes each. One charge is enough for 8 full treatments of 20 minutes each.
Yes. The mask does not cause skin overheating and is completely safe for the eyes. Made of medical-grade silicone and waterproof to IP67 standard, it provides comfort and hygiene of use.
It is not recommended to use in case of:
- active skin diseases or infections,
- photosensitivity or photosensitizing medications,
- pregnancy or breastfeeding (after consultation with a doctor).
The mask has a 2600 mAh battery. Charging via USB-C port provides up to 8 sessions of 20 minutes each.
First results may be visible after just a few weeks of regular use. Clinical studies indicate that light therapy can reduce inflammatory changes by up to 77% after 12 weeks.
Daily use is not recommended — 2–3 treatments per week are sufficient to achieve optimal effects without overloading the skin.
