You gain an extra hygiene stage without using chemicals. The UV function with two light ranges (UV-C and UV-A) illuminates the toothbrush bristles with the lid closed.
Dry bristles instead of damp ones. After the UV cycle, warm air at 60°C is activated to quickly dry the toothbrush. Less moisture means fewer unpleasant odors.
The device takes care of hygiene in the background. Depending on the power mode, the cycle starts automatically every 2-4 hours. You always have a ready toothbrush.

Yes. The UV cycle only runs when the lid is closed. The light does not escape. Just remember not to look directly at the lamp if you decide to open the lid while it is running.
No. A temperature of 60°C is completely safe for nylon bristles and the standard materials used to make toothbrushes. It is lower than the temperature inside a household dishwasher.
